Author Interviews with Summer's Sweet Embrace authors! @RoanePublishing #Romance #Anthology #Giveaway

Author Interview Time!!

I asked the authors of Summer's Sweet Embrace about their favorite summertime memory with their spouse / significant other. Here's what they had to say...

~~~oOo~~~
Michelle Ziegler:
I’m assuming building the deck, although a great memory, is not what you were thinking?  Okay, fine. Summer memory.  I have to say it was our first annual 4th of July party.  It rained so hard that not much went to plan.  This was BK – before kids. My husband and his friends were kids enough for us though.  The burgers were chard thanks to the monsoon hitting and the air conditioner wasn’t working right. When it came time for fireworks, my husband was not to be deterred. He got a blow torch and braved the storm. Yes, firework will light up, go off, and crackle in rain. It might not be super romantic, except that my husband knows I love fireworks and I am very patriotic. I still laugh remembering how drenched my husband was and the large goofy grin as each fountain erupted.
Laurie Treacy:
Sitting on the beach roasting s’mores over a fire, talking and singing.
Christa MacDonald:
My family rents a beach house every summer.  Our big crowd means huge family meals and playing games late into the night.  It's loud, close, and hardly private but thoroughly wonderful.  Every trip though, my husband makes a point of stealing me away for at least one solo walk on the beach.  We stare up at the stars while sitting on the sand and just enjoying the moment alone.  Okay, there's some kissing too.
Kim Strattford:
Eating raw oysters off our dock and then raspberries off our bushes on the Fourth of July.
Jaylee Austin:
On a trip to the British Isles, we visited English Pubs, visited Wales, explored castles and kissed the blarney stone in Ireland. Those were an enjoyable three weeks of food, shopping, exploration, and love.
Niki Mitchell:
I spent one Fourth of July watching fireworks from a boat on the Colorado River with my now husband’s arms wrapped around me.
Melissa J. Crispin:
 Many years ago, my husband had a 1970 Toyota Landcruiser that he had fixed up. On a perfect summer day, he would take the top off of it and we would drive around. I have fond memories of those days, with the warm sun on my skin and the wind in my hair. There was a freedom about it that’s difficult to put into words. I was sad when he had to get rid of it. Though to be fair, probably not nearly as sad as he was! But, he recently picked up another one to restore, so we’ll get to do it all over again eventually. I’m looking forward to it.
Sheryl Winters:
I started dating my husband in the middle of the summer. I remember I took a day off work and we drove up to Hatcher's Pass. It's a mountainous area with a river that runs through it. We kicked back and ate beef jerky and drank Diet Pepsi. We investigated a beaver's dam and I surprised him by climbing out to get a better look.
